Roberts Electrical Contracting

Roberts Electrical Contracting started in 2007 with master electrician Chad Roberts, and his wife Jennifer Roberts. As the sole employee, Chad built the business with the customer in mind, providing quality, trusted, and timely service. In 2008, with the vision of expansion Chad hired a small team of electricians and thus established a culture of hard work, loyalty, and teamwork. Today, our team has grown to over forty-five individuals comprised of master electricians, journeyman electricians, apprentices, and office staff. As our company expands we continue to value our team of hard-working individuals while remaining dedicated to our customers, going above and beyond to provide quality and timely service.

Mission Statement

From start to finish, Roberts Electrical Contracting is committed to providing the highest level of professionalism, timely service, and quality workmanship. Trusted for our honesty and expertise, we offer a wide variety of electrical contracting services in the commercial and multifamily residential markets. Our team of experienced electricians and office staff work diligently to ensure all projects are completed effectively and in-line with your project goals.

Chad lives in Aurora Colorado with his wife, their two children, and dogs. He enjoys mountain biking, skiing, camping, coaching little-league sports, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Chad Roberts

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

As a licensed Master Electrician, Chad has over 20 years of experience in the commercial and multifamily electrical contracting industry. As Chief Executive Officer, he oversees both the multifamily and commercial Executive divisions and ensures estimating, invoicing, and scheduling run efficiently. Chad plays an instrumental role in leading growth and operations of Roberts Electrical Contracting. He implements company policies/procedures, optimizes sales strategy and ensures our vision and mission are upheld. Chad has developed a positive company culture built on teamwork, education, accountability, and craftsmanship. His dedication to quality, and timely service has fostered successful long-term relationships with customers, employees, general contractors, builders, and suppliers. 

Jennifer lives in Aurora with her husband and their two children. She enjoys cheering on her kids, training at the CrossFit gym, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jennifer Roberts

President

Jennifer has been in the electrical contracting industry for over 11 years. After graduating from Colorado State University, she began her career as a marketing production manager. She developed an expertise in contract negotiation, concept development, budgeting and customer relations. After several years in marketing, Jennifer had the desire to enter the electrical contracting industry. Utilizing her management experience, she and her husband started Roberts Electrical Contracting. Now, as owner and president, Jennifer oversees day-to-day business management operations including bookkeeping, payroll, insurance management, company policies and procedures, mentoring and managing office staff. In addition to managing daily operations, Jennifer is essential in building a collaborative company culture by helping team members enroll in education courses, oversee their growth and plan team-building and leadership activities.

Brad lives in Lakewood with his wife and their children. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends, camping, fishing, dirt biking, and snowboarding.

Brad Ellington

Vice President (VP)

Brad joined Roberts Electrical Contracting in 2016. He has an extensive 20-year career in sales, and business management. As Vice President, Brad plays an instrumental role in company growth, operations, and implementing company policies. He is responsible for managing the operations of several residential projects at a time, including bidding, estimating, invoicing, and scheduling.

He oversees a team of several Operational and Project Managers and collaborates directly with the customer during the pre-construction process to develop and ensure budgets are accurate and comprehensive. He value engineers projects to meet budget specifications and ensures plans are in line with the project goals. Brad’s focus on superb customer service coupled with his emphasis on positive team culture makes him an impactful leader within the company.

Luke lives in Arvada with his wife, their children, and pets. He enjoys camping, fishing, four-wheeling with his kids, and spending time with family and friends.

Luke Gallegos

Commercial Operations Executive

Luke has over ten years of experience in the commercial and residential electrical contracting industry. He joined Roberts Electrical Contracting in 2010 as an apprentice, acquired his journeyman license, and is now a licensed Master Electrician serving as an Executive within the company. As an Operations Executive of the commercial division, Luke manages the administrative operations for several commercial projects at a time, including bidding, estimating, invoicing, and scheduling.

He oversees a team of several Operational and Project Managers and serves as the main point of contact between the job-site and the customer where he ensures timelines and bud gets are in line with project goals. Luke’s dedication to his career in the electrical contracting industry has proven him an instrumental team leader and positive mentor to all within the company.

Susan lives in Lakewood with her husband and their dog. When not traveling the country to watch live music, Susan spends her time outdoors in the garden, running, hiking, and camping.

Susan East

Executive Assistant

Susan recently joined the Roberts Electrical Contracting team in 2018. She is responsible for completing administrative, human resources, and managerial tasks. She oversees service operations, digital website content and manages REC social media platforms. Susan ensures daily office operations run smoothly and efficiently, she provides stellar customer service and promotes an inclusive, positive, and collaborative team culture.
